The factory hoses were clearly deteriorating—hard, brittle, and starting to lose their sealing integrity, especially around high-heat areas. After removing them, it was obvious failure was only a matter of time. The Mishimoto silicone hoses are significantly thicker, more flexible, and built to handle heat cycles far better than stock.

Fitment was spot on. Everything lined up exactly as it should with no modifications required. The included clamps are solid, but I recommend taking your time to ensure proper positioning for a perfect seal.

Once installed, the system feels much more confidence-inspiring. No leaks, no weird fitment issues, and the overall quality is noticeably higher than OEM. This is especially important on the 3.5 EcoBoost where cooling system reliability is critical due to turbo heat.

If you’re already replacing components like the degas bottle, thermostat, or dealing with coolant leaks, this kit is absolutely worth it. It’s not the cheapest option upfront, but it’s a long-term solution that helps eliminate a known failure point.

The second one came and started leaking 6 months in on drivers side. I had to use OEM part. The hoses seem more durable but the diameter is smaller by a little bit. I originally found the one that was sliver or bare metal . I read what was in the box when I noticed it was also in black same price . So I bought the black one well on the sliver or bare metal part it said it came with 50 foot of rubber line to run transmission lines.
Being that they were the same in appearance when I looked at them side by side and they were the same price I didnt need to read what was in the box for the black part number. Well there was about 4 foot of rubber hose in the Black part number box not 50 feet like the Sliver part number box.
