It provides consistent lubrication under extreme conditions, helping to protect engines at RPMs of 9,000 and higher. This pump is designed to meet the demands of high-flow applications.Precision Construction And Finishing. Constructed with a billet steel backplate to prevent cavitation and increase strength, this pump includes MartenWear heat treated gears for enhanced durability. The patented vane-ported design optimizes oil flow. The gear set features a mirror finish and dual-stage heat treatment with a billet steel anti-cavitation oil pump cover. Assembly uses stainless Torx head fasteners with Loctite and proper torque specifications, anaerobic sealant on critical areas to reduce aeration, and lubricants applied to critical surfaces. Each pump is blueprint matched and issued with a specification sheet.Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill. The pump is designed for direct fitment without the need for drilling or major modifications and can be installed using common hand tools.Application.
